The film is based on the British television show The Syndicate. It is about a team of seven gas station employees who is eager to change their fate to buy lottery. One day, they suddenly hit the jackpot which leads to surprise consequences.
There's a pretty strong pulling power here, with relatable characters in non-glamorous surroundings suddenly striking it rich before meeting a media horde at episode's end.
