The series revolves around Detective Charlie Cruz, who finds himself facing a serious case for being blamed for the killing of three people. Charlie was sentenced to 12 years in prison but he seems to be desperate for losing everything during a long period of his life. Charlie lost family, job, friends and everything. After being released from prison, he is in conflict with reality to investigate his case.
