Season 7 follows a new series of challenges, as Valerie Bertinelli and Dov Goldman ask the seven young bakers to make a donut bun. It is a giant cake that is made using bonded cake pans, as bakers make a cake with a specific flavor such as strawberry or maple. At the end of the work, people try to decorate it to look like a giant donut.
