This series provides a documentary overview of life in prisons, especially Sacramento County Prison. In this big prison, there are many prisoners who are fighting the bitter reality. Women prisoners in this prison are battling against power and each other for coexistence in an attempt to achieve the best in life from the inside, where they face conflicts that speak of a real tragedy for them.
We could get on our high horse and say how exploitative Jailbirds is, but then we realize that everyone there is an adult, they signed a release, and the show is pretty damn fun to watch.
