The second season begins as the US Special Activities Team has landed in Venezuela. That task is led by Intel Jack by going to a militia-guarded compound. Deep in the forest, Jack tries to find answers and puts the whole team at risk. Jack tries to avoid the risks to the team and make things more complicated.
This series has bigger and bolder set-pieces than season one and yet it never feels unrealistic in the least. So stock up on popcorn and buckle in for the most exciting eight hour movie you have ever seen.
Krasinski elevates the character simply by the fact that we just want to pinch his cheeks. Tom Clancy's Jack Ryan is meat-and-potatoes spy thriller entertainment, and now has its equally accessible character to drive it.
