All this stuff is groundbreaking TV, yet still classic Shonda, echoing Scandal's equally tense love-lust triangle. Everyone's a villain, in a way - and that's just how we like it.
Yes, a 99 percent chronological episode served as the latest installment of No Honestly I Really Don't Know If They're Going to Get Away With This Murder, which is what I've decided to affectionately title the second half of season one.
This week's How To Get Away With Murder, thankfully, doesn't really try any special framing devices. It tells its story directly, making it one of the more coherent episodes of this post-break portion of the season.
Now that's what I'm talking about. After last week's lackluster outing (minus the final reveal) I wanted an episode that gave me the same rush as the pilot. Hot damn did "She's a Murderer" deliver. It may be my favorite one so far.
