In season two, Niles tries to help the team and keep his daughter completely safe from her fictional friends. During this period, Cliff, Jane and Rita search for Dr. Tyme and his time-changing space minerals. This seems to be related to their reluctant pursuit of Niles and Dorothy while this mission seems to be not quite considered.
That's the beauty of Doom Patrol, an ability to transition from pure ridiculousness to relatable heartbreak so quickly you don't even notice until you're tearing up.
Along with Harley Quinn & Watchmen, this is PEAK television for the DC Comics brand. The entire cast continues to be top notch, with excellent additions Shapiro & Obilom.
Doom Patrol Season Two is a worthy successor to the beautiful madness that was its freshman season. It delivers on the same sorts of entertaining balance of dark and light that fans have come to love and expect and somehow improves on it.
I assure you that if you were a fan of the premiere season, you will definitely enjoy this one! The second season couples many of the elements that made the first something special and is working toward something even greater this time around.
