Scott, a loving father of four, began a new stage of tragedy when he was diagnosed with cancer. Scott collects a trusted set of role models that include Anthony, his older friend, Larry, and Oliver. These people are a group of role models who agree to dedicate themselves to supporting and directing the amazing Scott family in the event that he is unable to do all of that.
Council of Dads fails to connect with viewers on an emotional level because it summarizes what could have been an entire season of story in 42 minutes and then asks us to care about people we barely know.
