The second season continues to feature events, as it appears that young people are increasingly dying and disappearing. Along the way, a professional criminal is terrorizing the sixth wing, while detective Kevin Corcoran must stop everything that happens during this period. Along the way, the police are investigating the direction of Wing Commander Gen. Brendan Donovan before things collapse.
This episode is Copper at its liveliest, because the manhunt for a rampaging killer, while not exactly a model of narrative intricacy, crowds out most everything else and generates some excitement.
When one of the medium's finest writers (series creator Tom Fontana) gets behind a series, it's not a bad idea to pay attention. But as a Copper newbie, I'm still struggling to figure out what all the love was about last season.
