Another season starts with substantially more excitement that follows a brilliant Vampire hunter, who battles against sparing a town from being attacked by a shrewd army ruled by Dracula, as he puts forth a valiant effort to free it and fights evils. In this new season, Issac looks for Hector.
There is a lot to love about this season of Castlevania Season 3. It's sensual, violent, and filled with action and beautiful animation, all while growing its cast of characters.
Castlevania's unique combination of sarcastic humor, supernatural horror, violent action and deep pathos makes it far and away the best video game adaptation around.
While this self-confident swagger can be distracting at times, overall, the series feels more daring and original than ever as a world without Dracula proves no less deadly for Trevor Belmont and his friends.
Castlevania is truly a shinning example of what a video game adaptation should aspire to be. It has a deep respect for the source material, while also having a fun time pointing out some of the more ridiculous elements of the series.
The show does take its time, and it isn't leaning into action often to break up the slower moments. The action is earned through the peaks and valleys that the story is taking, and for some, that may take too long.
