Struggling against survival, people of Caprica world, who live in harmony and peace, as there is no wars and danger as all live in peace, do their best to face the danger of artificial intelligence that begins to spread rapidly.

It's not Battlestar Galactica, in that it swaps out the military components of that show for a bit of teen angst and soap opera intrigue, but I really like the lead performances by Eric Stoltz and Esai Morales.
We need a significant change; a twist to make this story feel necessary and gripping, because at the moment there are independently compelling ideas and a remarkable universe to play around in, but not much holding the seams together.
Like Battlestar Galactica's profound philosophical questions about life, religion, technology, society, etc., Caprica kept in line with its running commentary on the current state of our world.
