Trailer

Though 'Chucky Rhoades's Greatest Game' functions as a solid season premiere, it just as easily could have been a midseason episode. It's a flex on...just how well Billions knows what it is and what it's doing.
Part of the appeal of Billions is that it offers mere mortals a glimpse into the lives of the very, very rich...What's missing is a woman's perspective.
Billions has always been about the increasingly paranoid attempts by its many players to one-up each other. With "Chucky Rhoades's Greatest Game," paranoia is the dominating theme. It is the crux of what makes this episode tick.
In the Season 4 premiere of Showtime's ruthlessly entertaining financial thriller, "Billions"...we're reminded that no matter what game they're playing, men like Axe aren't happy unless they go all-in on every hand.
Neither Chuck nor Axe is truly in the gutter at this point, but watching them claw their way back to the top, with or without each other's help, should make for another satisfying season of Billions.
Despite the clever psychological toing and froing, the double-dealing intrigue and the black arts of manipulation, blackmail and duplicity, when it comes to the big players in the Billions universe, they are always all in.
If you had trouble untangling yourself from the intricate web that was the Billions season-four premiere, you're not alone...That's not to say "Chucky Rhoades's Greatest Game" isn't a fantastic episode, but it is an exhausting one.
