We complete the series again in Season 6, where the season begins with George the father, who drops a large bomb he was working with a British syndicate tricked into building a house in Iraq. On the other hand, Michael decides to investigate the claim to go to the British section of Orange County, where he meets a beautiful and mysterious woman named Rita who could change events.
The entire five-episode arc of Arrested Development with Charlize Theron as Rita is a perfect example of the show setting up jokes that either won't be paid off for several episodes or won't even work until a second viewing.
