The life of a successful and courageous detective, who after spending about 17 years in a comma, wakes up to find himself in a world, run by robots and machines, has been changed completely, when he has to work with a robot named Dorain that understands emotions, but working together, inspires their strong friendship relation.
Though high production values can't mask the show's formulaic execution, Almost Human's amiable leads and appealing premise lend plausibility to the promise of a better show down the road.
