The film revolves around Ali Neuman , who narrowly escaped being killed by the Inkhata party. Ali and his mother had survived the massacre of those years with many survivors. Currently, Ali is the head of the South African Police Homicide Branch in Cape Town, where he and his staff, Brian Epkeen, are investigating the brutal killing of a young white woman and going through various paths along the way.
