The events of the film take place during the year 1979 at Porter Good School in Charleston, South Carolina, where 49 students graduated. Over the past 35 years, six students committed suicide, and then Paige Goldberg Tolmach received word that another former student from her beloved high school had killed himself as things are a true and unspeakable mystery.
