In a vacation home for a holiday in a rural city in Italy, a couple decided to spend the weekend away from the hustle of marital life and routine. During that trip, both spouses tried to reconcile the marital relationship, but soon the journey in that evil house turned into an exciting time and a terrifying adventure for the couple and both became victims of that dirty house.
Strong lead performances by Aaron Paul and Emily Ratajkowski are squandered in "Welcome Home," a low-tension suspense picture with pretensions of saying something profound about broken relationships.
Although it tries to be a nail-biting enterprise, I doubt anything here will make deal-hunters second guess an impossible rate for an unforgettable vacation. The extra sleaze just might be worth the savings.
Once the buzz from the ending fades, you may find yourself resenting Welcome Home for not figuring out that it could've been a classic until it was too late to be one.
