Struggling against survival, Avery Malone, a young smart writer, who after having the chance of helping her favorite writer to write his next novel, struggles against survival, as he takes her to his remote cabin, in order to make a psychological experiments about fear, the thing that challenges her, as she finds out that he is a serial killer and uses his victims to write his novels.
