A man and his brother on a mission of revenge become trapped in a harrowing occult experiment dating back to the Third Reich. The duo has to fight for survival with a Nazi, who finds the key to immortality.
[The story is] pretty silly and unfortunately some of the scenes obviously intended to be shocking and effective are hobbled by budget; the dodgy CGI really undermines the scares.
Creek nevertheless fails to live up to the director's proven talents as a convincing screen stylist. It's ugly, raw, and marginally tasteless, so perhaps the irksome inability to clearly see what's going on is an unintentional gift.
