It is an exciting and powerful story about a young man named Jack who can move his games to an ancient empire through the gate of time. In these exotic Chinese lands, Jack needs to combine his skills in games to fight a tough barbarian king, where Jack needs kungfu skills to protect a beautiful princess. After this happens, he must find the way home by a strong risk for a teenager on a new mission.
Hoene and Besson haven't constructed as tight a story as Steven Spielberg and his many protegees usually did, but they have nailed the feeling of a boy who could be a hero, if just for one day.
