There are two twins who quickly lost their mother one day. The older sister goes to work in the city, the younger ones stay at home and take care of their father. Things turn later because of the difficult life in the country, bringing the younger elder sister to the city to live with. Soon after, the older sister died, where the story begins with new events where the younger sister must live like her sister.

The film is trite on the surface, but through some complex plotting, writer-director Jenée LaMarque slyly incorporates foreboding themes of guilt and delusion that push the farcical elements to the brink.
