An obsessed cop (John Cusack) is, with his partner, on the trail of a serial killer prowling the streets of Buffalo, N.Y. and he soon goes rogue to save his teenager daughter when the killer mistook her for a prostitute and kidnapped her.
Aiming for a grim tone of genre escapism, The Factory drowns in poor taste and dismal logic, pushing anger and unnerving personal issues on people just looking to be entertained.
