An amateur-hour hodgepodge of painfully extraneous voiceover narration and hacky, underdeveloped plot points that add up in the end to one big poof of dust.
It's especially unforgivable when the alleged Indian curse is only a red herring to distract viewers from the more pressing gender-based violence at hand.
