The film follows the story of Martin, a famous writer, and his lost wife, but it is not fully found. It is during this period and fifteen years later, Martin meets an exciting woman - Angelique at his daughter's birthday party, while this woman disappears completely and is not found.
Oscar-nominated filmmaker Mike Figgis (Leaving Las Vegas) continues to explore experimental styles of cinema (see Timecode or Hotel) with this playful in-joke about the act of artistic creation.
