The excitement of 'Suicide Club' starts in Tokyo, where many students in the high school do a terrible suicide together without any reason to do something like that and the detective Kuroda with his group do their best to discover the reason of this matter and follow any clue related to this wave of self-murders.
A incompatível mistura de humor negro, suspense, drama e divagações pseudo-filosóficas acaba desperdiçando uma premissa que poderia ter gerado um filme fascinante.

The film's an odd blend of mystery, social commentary, experimental freak-out, and all-out horror, and while the blend doesn't always work... it works well enough.
An exceptionally unique movie dying to be rescued from what is essentially a mild case of hubris.
