The film tells the story of a solid investigator who flops to wait for a gang of revenge killers. It's that fateful night full of girls, guns, and money, as this guy takes a new path by helping many interesting hotel guests. They are trying to evade this which will happen in the store.
It's hard to know whether Sebastian Gutierrez is imitating or satirizing the hard-boiled noirs of Hollywood's past, but either way it feels like a botched attempt.
You never lose the nagging sense that you're simply watching a high-school drama club's production of '40s fatalism chic.

Though the kooky tale could have been more focused with fewer punchlines, all that seems to be missing is the dame called toots perhaps remarking to her latest possible infatuation: Is that a Kalashnikov in your pocket, or are you just glad to see me.
