Shaun seems to be trying to spend a day off and have some fun one day. Sean decided to go through his first experience with a mixture of farms, a caravan and a steep hill that leads them all to the big city. It seems to be entirely up to Shaun and the herd to safely return everyone to the green lawn of the house in a short time.
This is yet another grear film made by the beautiful mind of Nick Aardman the creator of Wallace and Grommit. This movie is both fun and adorable to watch! The hand made characters as well as the sets are well designed, and beautifully shot in stop motion. Great for both kids and adults alike!
Shaun the Sheep Movie is filled with the usual Aardman stop-motion magic; animals with human emotions, plenty of sight gags and cultural references, and British wit that appeals to young kids and adults.
Such technical brilliance from Aardman Animations should be no surprise by this stage. What really hits you is the persistent level of charm and hilarity as it coasts along.
The sight gags are so meticulously designed that they often recall Rube Goldberg inventions; much of the fun derives from seeing how the filmmakers pull off their elaborate comic scenarios.
