The film revolves around Dr. Rico Sims, who was able to create a dangerous monster, which is half barcodactile and half preracuda. It seems that the new creature managed to escape and destroy everywhere in order to get food. But in the end, Sharktopus, a creature half-shark, half-octopus, is trying to stop pteracuda.
With a rather limp ending and a shortage of distinctive set pieces, this is a disappointing entry in the Sharktopus series, falling short of its potential.
