Sarah tries to file for divorce papers while in New York. Maybe Sarah started to feel surprised then persuades Tyler, the operations server, to serve Moore's husband instead. She is trying to plan to get a larger portion of his money into divorce after a long time.
A third-rate conflation of Midnight Run and It Happened One Night, Serving Sara relies heavily on Perry's perpetually exasperated shtick, which fits more comfortably among the democratic ensemble of TV's Friends.
Perry and Hurley banter and bicker in the old screwball tradition, and it's clear from the start that they're supposed to fall in love. They just don't sell it with much conviction.
