Zoe wants to show off her rodent pal's skill at the school talent show but her stepmother and shifty burger man Burt (David Walliams) have other ideas, which include throwing Armitage into the mincer and putting rat burgers on the menu. The all-star cast will also feature Ben Bailey Smith as celebrity chef Charlie Jacobs, Nigel Planer as the Headmaster, Sophie Thompson as Miss Maxwell and Harish Patel as Raj.
Admittedly, the CGI rat isn't great and the energy drops whenever Sheridan or Walliams are offscreen, but kids will love the mix of gross-out comedy with a nice message about the importance of friends, loyalty and believing in yourself.
