Working as a head researcher at a technology company that inspires her inventory, Ren Amarie, creates a new invent that manages people to go through realistic memories, by using nanotechnology, the thing that makes her struggle against saving her invent from evil that seek to have it.
The director is helped along by a darkly charismatic leading performance from Jessica De Gouw who, with her piercing gaze and slightly gothic look and swagger, is a great solidifying force for the cast.
OtherLife would sit comfortably within the Black Mirror universe, a well-built and well-acted genre picture that helps corrupt the idea of the typical Australian film.
