The dramatic film revolves around a man named Lawrence Garfield, a commercial attacker known as Larry the Liquidator, who buys companies and sells assets. He wants to eliminate the wire and cable company. He meets with Georgensen, the company's president, and tells him his usual plan. Gorgensen told him he would not. So Garfield plans to challenge him for control at the next shareholder meeting.
Surprisingly, the trademark roguish antics of diminutive devil DeVito is kept at a subdued level thanks to the lifeless corporate spunk in Jewison's mediocre material. It's not really all that fun spending a dime on Other People's Money
