The film follows the story of a former LAPD officer Brett Anderson who took over as chief of security in an old apartment building in the Bulgarian capital Sofia. Brett faces a terrifying path in this building as it shows many strange events. Brett begins to explain what is happening as he attempts to delve deep into the evil building and investigate his mysterious owners and former employees and finally discover the presence of a malicious force sweeping the building.
Nightworld conjures the spirits of many other stories to tell its own. It's an uncanny amalgam which, though pointedly derivative, to an extent confounds through the sheer multitude of its influences, & takes full advantage of very atmospheric sets.
