The action continues in life in the meantime, Naruto Uzumaki, Shikamaru Nara and Sakura Haruno on a mission to retrieve the lost pet mongoose when they are also attacked by armored warriors in addition to a mysterious knight named Timogen. After a brief battle, both Timogen and Naruto burst off a nearby cliff. Chikamaru and Sakura ran to the edge to see if they could discover their friend, when suddenly a huge machine, like giant cathedrals, scoured the jungle and came to rest not far away.
