The film revolves around a 10-year-old boy named Arthur. Arthur tries to find a way to keep his grandmother's beloved house from being destroyed by a developer who has completely different plans. Now, Arthur is looking for some legendary hidden treasures in the land of Minimoys, where it seems that this is a small people living in a strange harmony and integrated with Mother Nature.
The original movie was always going to be a tough act to follow. But the new story is so weak that it cannot even work on its own as mindless entertainment.
