Mike and Dave are youthful, courageous, carefree siblings who have a tendency to loose control at family social occasions. At the point when their sister Jeanie uncovers her Hawaiian wedding designs, whatever remains of the faction demands that they both bring respectable dates.
Were it a bit more absurd, it might function as a surrealistic commentary on the romantic comedy genre. As it stands, however, it's just a boring comedy.
You never quite believe these women belong with Devine and Efron's Hollywood-generic douche bags -- it feels like a failure of the script, if not the entire industry. If you don't think about it too hard, you won't hate it.
