It is the story of Manny Lewis' movie that connects with millions of fans, while he seems to have trouble calling one person. Mane struggles to overcome this bad feeling in his life which is his sense of alienation and shame, and the difficult relationship with his father in search of love and passion.
Manny Lewis is a bittersweet, utterly charming romantic comedy, and Carl Barron is a delight.

The incessant talk that continues from start to finish might just be the movie's strongpoint -- and given how clumsy and contrived it is, that's saying something.
I like the concept - a successful comedian who can't relate to anyone beyond his audience - but somehow this well-meaning comedy starring Aussie comedian Carl Barron fails to ignite
Absolutely terrible...Unfunny, aimless and largely pointless, you'd be better off listening to five minutes of any Carl Barron routine than submitting yourself to yet another Australian feature film that apparently had no audience in mind.
