A pair of former brothers-in-law embark on a road trip through Iceland in an attempt to reclaim their youth through Reykjavik nightclubs, trendy spas, and rugged campsites. This bawdy adventure is a throwback to 1980s road trip comedies, as well as a candid exploration of aging, loneliness, and friendship.

"Land Ho!" is an indie oddball of a movie that wanders about with two seniors looking to squeeze a bit more out of life. The squeezing is gentle but affirming, just like the film.
...no huge emotional payoff here (the film's shambling nature reminds me of the Dutch documentary Ne me quite pas, about two aging working-class alcoholics), just an hour and a half of pleasant company.
