A man returns to the childhood home where his brother disappeared 20 years earlier, trying to discover the truth behind it. However rather than have an experience that will help him reconcile with his past, he finds that he, his girlfriend, and a film crew are in serious danger.
Absent a story that generates any sort of clearly defined stakes or rooting audience interest, the movie elicits more of a yawn than any lasting impression.
Happy Camp is yet another hopeful "found footage" darling, joining the ranks of like-minded dreamers that have attempted the same overnight success - yet only found the bargain bin.
