The movie is about an unexpected trio of Allies against the ancient Ice Ghost (AIG). It is an odd task in terms of its setting that tells of attacking a young child who is afraid of everything by a professional ghost hunter, and Hugo's spirit. The team tries to work together to save their city from the next Ice Age.
Maybe there are kids who'll take to Ghosthunters, although presumably they're the same kids who enjoy shoving crayons up their own noses. Boo. And not in a spooky, good way.
Ghosthunters effectively nails down what an audience of 8 to 12-year-olds might enjoy: silly scares, simple humour and a familiar story, decently enough told.
Aimed very much at little people who don't notice so-so special effects, plot holes, logical inconsistencies, out-of-synch dubbing (it started off in German and the English was added afterwards).
