The movie follows the adventures of the trio members who ally in fighting against the ancient Ice Ghost (AIG). In this movie, Tom, Hetty, a professional ghost hunter and the highly-loved Hugo play a strange path and a powerful adventure by teaming up to save their city from the next Ice Age.
Maybe there are kids who'll take to Ghosthunters, although presumably they're the same kids who enjoy shoving crayons up their own noses. Boo. And not in a spooky, good way.
Ghosthunters effectively nails down what an audience of 8 to 12-year-olds might enjoy: silly scares, simple humour and a familiar story, decently enough told.
Aimed very much at little people who don't notice so-so special effects, plot holes, logical inconsistencies, out-of-synch dubbing (it started off in German and the English was added afterwards).
