Starring Olivia Grant, John Hannah, Chike Okonkwo and Warren Brown, Genesis is created by the most fascinating writer and director, Bart Ruspoli & Freddie Hutton-Mills. The film shows a post-apocalyptic era, where humans struggle to keep themselves alive by working on AI.
Genesis often feels like a badly-stitched collage of other sci-fi movies, and while that can often still make for decent entertainment for anyone who likes that kind of thing, Grant and Hannah aside, this is an unremarkable effort.
