Robert Saunders, a mechanical engineer living in New York City, was beaten unconscious on his birthday. After awakening, he realizes himself locked inside a cold storage of a restaurant. Why he is here, how he can survive in the freezing, it will reveal a series of nightmares related to the wrong person, a mafia, lose 8 million dollars and a wounded policeman who seems hold the key about all of this. McDermott does his best to make Robert a fearless, wisecracking smart-ass in the early Bruce Willis mold, but he's defeated by a script so dopey that its best stab at a witticism is "Baby, I wouldn't give you the ice off my eyebrows."
McDermott having a grand old time here as a Willis-style wiseass, while the production organizes levels of punishment for the leading man, creating a passably entertaining B-movie.
