Andy McGee and his future wife, Vicky, as young men enter secret paths and experiences. It seems that these people can undergo vague medical tests. Within a short period, each of them acquires the telekinetic ability, and after years they will have an infected child differently.
A scene-stealing performance by a menacing George C. Scott and a terrific musical score by Tangerine Dream elevate this entertaining companion piece to 1978's The Fury.
