A dramatic movie that follows Grant Taylor who has been the coach at Shiloh Christian Academy since six years. During this period, he hasn't made a great success. When he exposed to three consecutive defeats in his seventh season, he may be in a hard situation. But he intends to do whatever he can to change this bad fate.
Facing the Giants feels like an overly earnest church sketch of the type many evangelical congregations use as a teaching tool on Sunday between the worship music and pastor's message.
The religious proselytizing in this football movie is about as subtle as a blindside hit by a 300-pound defensive end.
