The film begins with a strange story co-existing by a man named Tom, a man who woke up in the middle of the night to see himself, 20-year-old Thomas. There seems to be something very strange, as Thomas has just traveled through time from the Soviet Union in 1980 to carry out a dangerous mission to uncover the idea of socialism. Tom seems to have been chosen by the socialist government for this vital experiment. Thomas tries to save socialism from its destiny through that dangerous task.
