One day, a Japanese pilot crashes on the small, remote island of Ni'ihau, Hawaii. This young man appears to have been received with traditional Hawaiian kindness and hospitality from the locals who live there until they discover that he was one of the soldiers who carried out the recent attack on Pearl Harbor.
