Benny goes back to Mexico after he got deported from US. At first he was struggling to find a decent job but then gets into the most common business of the town, drug trafficking. Even after being drenched in wealth and girls, he learns that this life is not as easy as he thought it would be.
While the storytelling in El Narco is quite strong on the surface, what impressed me the most was Estrada's ability to weave social commentary into the film.
