Set 15 years ago when evil creatures from the underworld plagued the Earth with the intent of eliminating mankind. Now due to a lunar eclipse, they return to finish the job. One family will battle against the odds to not only save themselves but to also seal the breach.
A jolly if undernourished SyFy channel vision, one which could have benefited from a little attention to detail in the close-up work (its script included).
If the effects had been practical and the gore more heavily indulged in, there could have been a rip-roaring time to be had here; instead it's a dour-faced disposable which rambles through its runtime without evoking much reaction.
