Eli Hartman works in a small bakery in her small town and tries to fulfill her own business dreams. ELEY manufactures the famous Christmas Kringles. The new chief executive of the big town of Nickel Carlinson visits Elie's bakery and seems to have ideas aimed at modernizing the bakery by laying off employees and turning the work into mechanisms. She tries to teach Nick how to make a favorite Kringles and insists that they are the only ones who are successful in this area, not machines.
